Loretta Tonak
Loretta Tonak has been a beloved music educator and accompanist in Sheridan County for more than 30 years. She currently serves as the organist at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and as accompanist at Sheridan College for choir, soloists, and ballet classes. She also offers private piano instruction to non-music majors, sharing her lifelong passion for performance and musical growth. Loretta is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to four grandchildren—each following in her musical footsteps as pianists and performers.
For Le Globe-Trotteur, Loretta has prepared a curated musical voyage to accompany each course of the evening. The performance begins with warm, festive melodies from Ecuador, echoing the spiced comfort of the Canelazo welcome drink. As guests progress through each dish, the music will travel the globe—through the romance of France and Italy, the tranquil beauty of Japan, the vibrant rhythm of Morocco and Israel, and the passionate spirit of Mexico. Each piece is thoughtfully chosen to harmonize with the flavors on the plate, creating a multisensory experience where cuisine and melody intertwine in perfect balance.“Three Women of Music” featuring Liz Shafer on piano with Michelle Forster singing classic opera and Gina Feliccia singing familiar Italian American songs.
